Fondation Dubuffet

It's incredible how time goes by. Already a year ago we spent a lovely day discovering the Fondation Dubuffet at Périgny-sur-Yerres. It was really amazing!!

The inside of the structure was as impressive as the outside.

Later on that day we walked around a little and discovered the lovely surroundings.

Encoutering La Cité de la Musique in Paris... on a Friday and a Sunday

Last Friday evening we went to one very impressive concert at La Cité de la Musique. This was the program, layed by the fantastic Ensemble intercontemporain under the direction of Susanna Mälkki:

I was also very impressed by the building of La Cité de la Musique, made by architect Christian de Portzamparc, and located at La Villette in Paris. So much so that yesterday we went there again for a nice Sunday walk and I took the chance for a few pictures.

I particularly enjoyed all the incredible and different perspectives, textures and colours that the "Cité" offers.

There was already a first building of what should become the Philarmonic in Paris in 2012. Looks promising!
